When he left, the ties between you and him where instantly broken. The gravitational pull loosened it’s grip. And the once strong damn that held the tears back fell into rubbles.

Without gravity everything slips into the most chaotic order. Sparks don’t fly anymore. Water slides in and out of the glass. Your heart beats simultaneously, without a proper beat, without a proper reason.

Gravity keeps us in place. Reminds us of what were not and what could have been done. When he left, the gravitational pull between both your hearts were broken.

But it doesn’t mean that your heart could not re-establish such connection.

Maybe in a different season, with a different reason, and an entirely different person.
